John Brickson joined the Dallas office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in 2025. Mr. Brickson is responsible for securing debt and equity on behalf of commercial real estate investors and developers for all property types including office, retail, industrial, self-storage and hospitality, with a specific focus on multifamily. John has close to fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate financing and investing and has acted as an intermediary since 2018. Throughout his tenure as an intermediary, John has closed nearly $1 billion in financing volume. John has extensive experience arranging complex financing from various capital sources, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, banks, credit unions, mortgage REITs and other private funding sources.
Before joining MMMC, John was the Managing Principal and Founder of McKinney Realty Capital. Additionally, he spent the early years of his career as a commercial real estate lender with BMO Harris Bank, Lone Start Funds and A10 Capital.
Originally from Kansas City, John graduated from DePauw University in 2011 with a BA in Economics.
